 <link>http://www.itworld.com/legal/68200/google-street-view-hits-privacy-gridlock-germany</link>
<description>Google was given a deadline of 10 a.m. Wednesday to agree to 12 points regarding Street View in order to comply with Germany&#039;s privacy laws, which generally restrict photographs of people and property except in very public situations, such as a sporting event, without a person&#039;s consent.

 <title>Google Adds User-Generated Photos to Street View</title>
 <link>http://www.itworld.com/internet/63337/google-adds-user-generated-photos-street-view</link>
<description>Starting Thursday you can see user-generated photos of famous landmarks in Street View in Google Maps. Google&#039;s computers analyzed millions of user photos on its location-based photo site, Panoramio, and then matched those photos with specific locations around the world. The pictures will also change depending on the angle from which you&#039;re viewing a particular landmark.
