At an event promoting Flash 10.2, Adobe may have let the cat out of the bag when it comes to Google's plans for its Honeycomb release of Android and smartphones. Beyond the possible slip, some hands-on evidence also suggests Honeycomb won't be limited to just tablets.

We've got leaks to back up earlier leaks, all of which adds up to more evidence for the Droid Pro and a couple of Android tablets coming to Verizon. Also good news for Flash fans coming out of the Adobe Android Summit.

There are days I look at a headline and wonder: "What part of that story goes with that headline?" It's a problem in any form of publishing, as the whole purpose of the headline is to get your attention and make you read the story, but the tech industry seems to have the worst issues with it. For example, this story from Computerworld. It's a breathless headline, isn't it? "Adobe knocks Apple for serving up outdated Flash Player". Oh, you can almost hear the knives being sharpened on all sides as you read it.

You think things are bad now between Apple and Adobe? Just wait until the lawsuit.

While Microsoft only released one patch Tuesday, they also admitted that the copy of Adobe Flash they've been shipping with XP until recently is hopelessly outdated and buggy.
