 <title>SCO thrashes on</title>
 <link>http://www.itworld.com/legal/82399/sco-thrashes</link>
<description>Shame on me. I was sure that when SCO fired anti-Linux zealot and CEO Darl McBride, that Edward Cahn, the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Court Trustee, would kill off SCO&#039;s IBM lawsuit as a waste of money for a company that&#039;s been bleeding red-ink for years. I was wrong.

<title>Capture output of certain Unix commands</title>
 <link>http://www.itworld.com/operating-systems/69214/capture-output-certain-unix-commands</link>
<description>A while back, I was trying to capture the output of the Unix command httpd -t to the clipboard. Typically, you do this in OS X by sending the command&#039;s output through the pbcopy command. But in this case, it wasn&#039;t working. After much investigation, what I learned is that some Unix commands, httpd -t included, don&#039;t send their output to the Terminal in the usual way.

<description>As with most important technologies, it&#039;s the people who follow the pioneers who often make the difference between a fabulous lab prototype and a technology that really transforms the landscape.
