  • Movable Type - Party in the U.S.A.

    Last week I was invited by Six Apart to attend a Movable Type conference in Manhattan. If you're not familiar with the software, Movable Type is a blogging platform turned CMS which was once a major player in the US market. After a lengthy toe-to-toe battle with Wordpress, a battle won by Wordpress, Movable Type slowly faded away.

    Singapore's Media Development Authority (MDA) will consider issuing tighter rules for how bloggers disclose payments and gifts they receive from companies whose products they review, but officials said the effectiveness of any such regulations would likely be limited.

    The U.S. Federal Trade Commission today released new guidelines requiring all bloggers to disclose any payments or freebies they get from companies in exchange for reviewing their products.
