Hi I have recently been assigned to setup and manage a data analyst/mining department. I need help as to how to go about this, what tools to integrate, first steps to take, etc. I am assuming Hadoop and R would be best tools but how steep are these learning curves? Is it easy to find potential employees who have experience with these tools?
