 <description>The worldwide security software market revenue totalled $13.5 billion in 2008, an increase of 18.6 percent from the 2007 revenue of $11.3 billion, according to Gartner. The APAC region saw a growth of around 30 percent. Gartner further predicts that in 2009, the security software market will show signs of a slowdown but will continue to grow at around 9 percent.
