 <title>Product review: Alienware OptX AW2210 21.5-Inch LCD Monitor</title>
 <link>http://www.itworld.com/hardware/85464/alienware-optx-aw2210-215-inch-lcd-monitor</link>
<description>Dell&#039;s gamer-friendly Alienware brand is extending its reach to include monitors, and the 21.5-inch widescreen 1080p OptX AW2210 ($300 as of November 11, 2009) serves up a lot to like: solid image quality, accessible and comprehensive built-in menus, and an exterior design that stands out from the generally conservative competition.

<title>Six years with an Apple Cinema Display</title>
 <link>http://www.itworld.com/hardware/62357/six-years-apple-cinema-display</link>
<description>Recently, while reviewing our year-end records, I noticed that my original (Aqua-style) 23-inch LCD Cinema Display just turned six years old. This is my main monitor, and it&#039;s in use every day. I was curious, though, just how many hours I&#039;d been using it during those six years, so I did some rough back-of-the-envelope calculations.

 <title>Build a three-screen workstation</title>
 <link>http://www.itworld.com/how/53680/build-three-screen-workstation</link>
<description>Unlike buying a McMansion, boosting your on-screen real estate is more than an exercise in wasteful vanity -- it boosts productivity. I myself have three displays adorning my desktop. On the left: A 19-in. Dell CRT on which I keep open a minimum of a dozen Firefox tabs at any given time. In the middle: A 19-in. ViewSonic LCD on which I take notes and write articles in Word, read PDF and Excel attachments, and watch Windows Media files. On the right: The 15-in. LCD screen of my ThinkPad T42, on which I do e-mail and IM chat.
