<title>The Internet. Who says you can&#039;t take it with you?</title>
 <link>http://www.itworld.com/mobile-amp-wireless/80823/the-internet-who-says-you-cant-take-it-you</link>
<description>My first reaction to the new WikiReader device, which houses the entire Wikipedia on disk and enables you to browse it, was &quot;huh?&quot; My second reaction was &quot;wow.&quot; Let&#039;s face it. If you travel, you&#039;ll find yourself with long stretches of un-connected time. If you had only one Internet resource available to you, the Wikipedia would probably be it.

<description>In one of my first Hassle-Free PC how-tos I talked about some terrific Web sites offering free tech support and toll-free support numbers that companies don&#039;t want you to know. Fast forward a half year or so, and I&#039;m back with even more must-have Web sites for your bookmarks list.

 <title>BBC vilifies Wikipedia</title>
 <link>http://www.itworld.com/internet/63831/bbc-villifies-wikipedia</link>
<description>While the &quot;downsides&quot; of Wikipedia are well-documented, and this article isn&#039;t particularly newsworthy, it does list some rather humorous examples of recent events involving the Conservative Party being caught tampering with an entry on Wikipedia to help leader David Cameron win an obscure political argument with Gordon Brown.
