The 2008 survey questioned more than 600 decision-makers of the largest European companies with a turnover of at least 100 million euros. The survey came up with the following findings: 1. 70% of respondents reported outsourcing at least one business process to lower-cost countries; 2. 49% of respondents agreed that offshore outsourcing served as an efficient cost saving tool;

I heard mention that the Chrome OS will have some sort of encryption available a la bitlocker. If it's possible to encrypt personal data using another password or key, then it may have potential for very secure data.... And Ubuntu has an 'encrypt home directory' option, perhaps google should follow suit.
