Iron Man 2 (May 7)
At the end of 2008's Iron Man film, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) reveals to the world that he's Iron Man. In this sequel, he faces pressure from the government to share the technology with the public, and faces new threats from a fellow arms dealer (Sam Rockwell) and villain Whiplash (Mickey Rourke).
Why geeks want to see it: Robert Downey Jr.'s performance as Tony Stark is dead on from the comics universe; rumors of more Avengers-related material (Samuel Jackson's Nick Fury makes another appearance); continued high-tech weaponry (we love the Iron Man suit); and of course, Scarlett Johannson's Black Widow.
