Google's Street View for Google Maps has finally reached Antarctica. Seriously, Google...what took you so long? I'm actually surprised that Google hasn't bought the naming rights to our planet. You can't buy the moon, but what about the earth? I digress. Anyway, now that we have a map of all seven continents, let's take a trip around the globe to see what it looks like on Google Earth.

Antartica

Half Moon Island: known primarily for it's large population of flightless waterfowl, Half Moon Island has to be one of the cooler (pun completely intended) and "most-unlikely-place-you'll-visit-in-your-lifetime" places to see on Google Maps. The fact that there's a "Street View" is remarkable.
