Carrier Ethernet has emerged as one of the hottest topics in the telecommunications industry, but questions remain about how fast Ethernet business services will be adopted by enterprise customers, how rapidly Ethernet-based IPTV/VOD consumer services will grow in the longer term, which Ethernet solutions will be widely deployed for WiMax and cellular traffic backhaul, and what is the proper mix of various carrier Ethernet, MPLS, and packet optical technologies in various parts of the network. Vendor and service provider experts will come together to address these and other questions as they share their views on major carrier Ethernet-related trends reshaping the telecom landscape. Expect a lively debate with plenty of audience participation.
