One of Holy Week's ancient rituals can be found on Twitter. Go figure.

A New York church has been Twittering the story of the Passion in observance of Good Friday. According to Trinity Wall Street's website, "you can travel the Stations of the Cross online and be part of a worldwide audience – via cell phone, Blackberry, iPhone, or other Internet connection – for what may be the world’s first Passion Play performed through the social networking application Twitter. "

Trinity Wall Street is an Episcopal church in Manhattan's Financial District that streams its services on the Web. It started at noon, and lasted 3 hours. You can see it here at: twspassionplay.
