    I haven’t been able to access my yahoo email in more than two days, and can’t seem to do anything about it. Since I use my yahoo email (which I have had forever) to communicate with a wide range of people, both personally and professionally, this stinks. Anyone know what the issue is or how widespread it is?

    I was told that VoIP apps on Android phones are going to stop working in a few months. This is unwelcome news, since I depend on GrooveIP when I have WiFi to keep me under my monthly call limit. Is this true, and if so, why is it happening?

    Ok, I understand that I need a certain amount of bandwidth to ensure good call quality on a VoIP system, but what is the most important factor in call quality, assuming you have sufficient bandwidth? We have QoS rules in place that prioritize voice traffic, but how much do factors like latency and jitter affect sound quality?

    Someone told me that there was a way to set up push notifications on your PC so you don't have to constantly pull out your Android when you are sitting at your desk and get a message alert. Kind of like how you get notifications on your phone, but in reverse. Any idea how to do this?

    I read an article in Forbes this morning about a guy who demonstrated an attack on Cisco VoIP phones, and he was able to access the mic data, and even have Google Speech to Text transcribe the data in near real time. Is this something to really be concerned about? How secure are VoIP telephone systems?

    How fast does your internet connection need to be for VoIP to work well?

    I would like to cut the telephone cord at my house and switch over to a VoIP system. It would save me hundreds of dollars per year, but my concern is the fastest internet service I can get where I live is DSL with 3Mbps download speed. Correction "up to 3Mbps". The reality is that when I do a speed test I almost always get 2.45Mbps.

    Microsoft has started offering "conversation ads" based on location, age and gender that pop up beside the image of the person with whom you are skyping. According to Microsoft, these "conversation ads" will generate additional topics of conversation and generate interactivity between users.

    We have a VoIP phone service at the office, and generally most people are satisfied with it. At times though, the quality drops, especially when everyone is in the office and at their desks. Our employees are generally younger, artistic types who listen to a lot of music while they work.
