Yeah, I'd definitely consider it. I'd be surprised if Apple, Microsoft or somebody else didn't buy that company outright soon. It seems like a very neat product.

I think the poor performance of the Facebook IPO (it's down around $29 as I write this) shows that we aren't in a tech bubble at all. If we were, Facebook would have gone way up. Now it's down nearly $10 per share from the first day of the IPO. So I wouldn't worry too much.

Is your Mac set up with Time Machine? If so you should be able to get the deleted files that way. Click the Time Machine icon in the dock. Then go back to before you deleted the files, they are probably still available. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427

jimlynch answers Re: What could cause persistent client disconnects while trying to run Hadoop Zookeeper through a cloud provider? You might want to check the documentation or discuss Hadoop on their mailing list. There are probably some other folks who have seen similar issues. I think it's the elusive iTV. There have been rumors for ages that Apple is coming out with a TV, so it makes sense for that to be the product. I doubt it's just the iPhone 5, though I'm sure that will be neat too. But we've all seen iPhones before, nobody has seen the iTV.

I haven't tried yet, but thanks for the heads up. I'm skeptical it will matter much though, there are plenty of browsers available already on that platform. So they'll have to come up with something special to stand out. I suspect they are trying to copy Google and have their own browser.

I think it's a harbinger of doom for other companies using Android for their mobile OS. Google will probably end up trying to emulate Apple by coming up with a closed system, where they control the hardware and the software. Wait and see.
