January 18, 2012, 2:55 PM — Here's how you can avoid problems in your VMWare virtual machines by disabling the Ctrl-Alt-Del command.
1. Open the "C:\Users\All Users\VMware\VMware Workstation\config.ini" file.
2. Add this line to it:
mks.ctlAltDel.ignore = "TRUE"
3. Save your changes.
This change will also stop VMWare from displaying a message telling you that it has detected that you've tried to use Ctrl-Alt-Del.
