Hugvie: A cute, cuddly huggable robot with a heartbeat

Today's cool video from DigInfo News is of the Hugvie - a soft, cushion-like "communication medium" that looks like an amorphous humanoid blob instead of a hard, rigid robot. When the human puts their cell phone inside the head of the Hugvie, an app can allow them to hear another person's voice, or a heartbeat.

The units also contain sensors and vibrators to make the Hugvie more interactive - check out more details at the DigInfo TV site.
