Star Wars: Detours - parody all the time

Robot Chicken crew now working with George Lucas on making fun of Star Wars characters

By

The team behind Robot Chicken, which did several parodies of the Star Wars universe on their own show, are now behind a new animated series called "Star Wars: Detours", which has the official stamp of approval from the folks at Lucasfilm.

Check out the first trailer for the series, which features a lot of similar jokes as seen by the Robot Chicken crew, as well as from the Family Guy parodies. Despite that, there are some funny jokes in there.

There's no official start date for the series yet, and whether this will be on a TV network or online, so stay tuned.
