August 31, 2012, 10:19 AM — Yesterday I talked about the Atari Arcade site, which lets you play classic games on your browser - as part of that campaign (or inspired by it), YouTube channel freddiew has created a cool video in which "new" or current video game characters (such as Lara Croft, Master Chief, Nathan Drake and Altair) take on the 8-bit pixel "enemies" like the Centipede, Asteroids and Combat tanks.

This video reminds me of the Sony Playstation ad from a few years ago, in which all of the video game characters gather in a bar to praise "their player". Very cool stuff.
