Sun, Oracle,VMWare discuss future virtualization trends

What is the big event in March? Could it be the March madness college basketball playoffs? Well, yes, but it is also AMD's self proclaimed "Virtualization Ecosystem Month." Now, that is not exactly a name that rolls off the tongue, but the month's events did include a webcast on March 25 which I watched much, but maybe not all of.

The speaker lineup was all vendors but did include some interesting thoughts from Joost Pronk, virtual systems strategist at Sun (soon to be IBM?), Monica Kumar the director of marketing for Linux and Virtualization at Oracle and Richard Brunner the chief platform architect at VMWare.
