Microsoft releases three videos to try and build excitement for Windows 8.

Microsoft installed a gigantic Windows Phone in New York’s Herald Square Monday to mark the debut of Windows Phone 7.5 devices on store shelves.

At the company's BUILD conference in California, Microsoft teased Windows 8 and offered developers the option to download an early realsed of the OS.

Concentrate carefully and the letters will appear on screen - it's not a magic trick but the latest in brain-machine control, on show at this week's Cebit. The system, called intendiX, consists of a skull cap with electrodes, a pocket-sized brainwave amplifier, and a Windows application that analyzes and decodes the brainwaves.

If the company provides the computer, the company owns the computer and has the sole right to decide how the employee uses that computer and what software can be loaded. Locking down Windows-based systems stop a wide variety of security problems.
