Using a trampoline as video game controller

Japanese researchers merge exercise tool with virtual environment

The Wii Fit game and Balance Board sit on a shelf near the TV, having gone unused for a while, but this video may get me inspired again to merge video games with exercise. For users who find it hard on their knees to exercise on the ground or use even the Balance Board, the mini-trampoline with the infra-red sensors might just do the trick. Now if Nintendo picks this up and we can run around with Mario, I'm in.
